Built in 1960 as A4D-2N (redesignated A-4C in 1962). Served in the US Navy from 1960 to 1972 with BuNo 147742 (this number is still visible on the inside of the open front landing gear cover). Stored at Military Aircraft Storage and Disposition Center (Tuscon, AZ) from 1972 to 1980. Delivered to the RSAF on 29 October 1980 and later converted in Singapore to the TA-4S-1 version. From 1985 to 1991 upgraded to version TA-4SU (new engine, as well as advanced weapons delivery and navigation system). Decomissioned in 2006 and then placed on display at Republic of Singapore Air Force Museum. This photo is copyright © WalAndPl, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
