Returning from an Alpha Scramble, this F-15C belongs to the 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wolfhounds". The cold-war scrambles were quite regular these days. The Eagles were fully armed with four AIM-7 Sparrows underneath the fuselage and four AIM-9 Sidewinders underneath the wings. This Eagle was delivered to the USAF on 23 March 1983 and served the 32nd TFS up to 14 April 1992. It departed for Tyndall AFB (FL) and was assigned to the 95th FS. The F-15C was stored at AMARG on 3 September 2010 with inventory code AAFH0311. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
