Delivered ti the US Navy as UF-1 141266 in 1955. Redesignated as an HU-16D in 1962. Was the last operational HU-16. To the National Naval Aviation Museum, Pensacola, FL in 1977 then to the Smithsonian Institute as N693S in 1980 and used for survey projects. To the EAA Museum, Lakeland, FL in 1988 then to the Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Orlando, FL by 2006 and preserved on a lake there.
