Originally built for Southwest Airlines in 1976, and later purchased by WestJet in 1996 as their 5th 737-200. Already 20 years old at the time, it spent the next 7 years with the carrier before being retired and donated to the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2003. It was housed in the old "Britannia Hangar" which was built in the 50s for Canadian Pacific, and was later the home of BCIT's aerospace program before they moved into their new facility in 2007. Ironically WestJet is now the tenant at the "Britannia Hangar" and uses it as their YVR maintenance facility.
