Part of a huge batch of L-18C Piper Super Cubs sold to the French Army, it was withdrawn in the mid sixties. It was sold on the civil market and went to Sweden, Norway, Belgium and eventually the UK. It was painted in USArmy markings and received a set of huge wheels. It now resides at Glenforsa on the Isle of Mull.
