Issued to the AMI in large numbers under the MDAP, the Havard brought the post-war Italian training capability into line with other NATO nations, remaining in use well into the 1970s. Following withdrawal, many found their way to Guidonia for disposal, which is where this example was based anyway, the coding denoting Regione Roma.
