Nine DHC-2 Beavers were delivered by sea to the RNLAF in 1956 and operated on liaison duties till 1974 when placed into store at Gilze-Rijen. S-9, previously allocated to the KLu Museum at Soesterberg, had the lowest hours of them and still flies.
