By 1957 when production ended, some 3,180 Skyraiders were built in eight major models and 37 variants. The larger fuselage of the AD-5 allowed modification into a four-seat electronic countermeasures aircraft designated AD-5Q, redesignated EA-IF in 1962. This one is displayed in the VAW-33 marks it carried on USS America in 1967 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
