Of the 150 Seastars built for the USN, only two are known to survive. Based on the T-33, they featured a raised instructor's seat improving visibility, more powerful engine and strengthening to allow carrier use. This one flew support roles for NAS Quonset Point, RI and was retired to the Boneyard in 1970 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
