Delivered as an A-5A in December 1962, operated by VAH-1 and VAH-3. Converted by North American Aviation at Columbus, OH to RA-5C for reconnaissance work in August 1964. Then operated by RVAHs 6, 13, 3, 7, 5 and 3 again.
