Shown in the marks of the 7th Geodetic Squadron, 55th Strategic Reconnaissance Group, Forbes AFB, KS in 1949. In 1956 the aircraft, one of 220 C-82s built, was sold to Samuel Rudolph Lumber as N6997C, in 1963 on to New Frontier Airlift and in 1969 to Allied Aircraft.
