Taken on charge with the RAF in 1956 as Hunter F.4 XF369 and withdrawn from service when it became a ground instructional airframe with 1 SoTT at Halton in 1967 being allocated 7941M. Returned to Hawker Siddeley Aviation in 1971, prepared for the Singapore Air Defence Command and delivered in 1973. It was one of several Singapore Hunters that made their way to Australia at the end of their service, 538 being stored in dismantled condition for sale at Melbourne then Tocumwal, NSW until shipped to the US in 2020
