Built for RNZAF as NZ1940. Damaged in 1987. Sent to Pacific Aerospace for repairs. While there converted to the prototype CT-4C with an Allison 250 turboprop and 3-bladed prop as ZK-FXM. When no sales eventuated, converted back to a CT-4B and returned to the RNZAF. It would later be sold in Australia as VH-YCQ.
