Nice to see a rare example of a CASA Aviocar on my last stop before returning home. Operated by Sheridan, Wyoming based Bighorn Airways for the US Forest Service out of the Methow Valley State Airport in Winthrop, Washington. Plenty of history here as the Methow Valley is considered the "birthplace of smokejumping" back in the late 1930s and early 1940s.
