This beautiful plane was originally delivered to British United (BUA) in June 1969. It went on to fly with Caledonian/BUA, British Caledonian, British Airways and European Aircharter before being wfu and stored at Bournemouth (BOH) in January 2002. The plane was broken-up there in September 2004 with the forward fuselage trucked to Alton for preservation as part of the adjacent cafe and for regular fear-of-flying classes.
