An F-4B falsely painted to represent Douglas F-110A Phantom II "49405" (taken from BuNo 149405). It is in fact ex US Navy F-4B 149421. F-110A Spectre was the USAF designation for two Douglas F-4 Phantom IIs borrowed from the US Navy in early 1962 (Bu149405 & Bu149406). This aircraft is one of 31 on display at the Lackland parade field. This photo is copyright © Aad van der Voet, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
