Accepted at Long Beach and shipped to Australia aboard HMAS Melbourne in 1967, this Skyhawk was operated by 805 Sqdn until transfer to 724 Sqdn in whose colours it has now been restored. After withdrawal in 1984 it was sold to the RNZAF as NZ6255 and was modified to TA-4K specification. Donated to the FAA Museum in 2012, it was flown back to Nowra aboard an RAAF C-17
