The real XG766 was indeed coded 808/NW in service with the RAN at Nowra between 1963 and 1970, but that aircraft eventually found its was to private buyer in South Africa via the UK. This is actually XG770, delivered to the RAN in 1959 and sold after service as 802/NW, 809/NW, 871/NW and 981/NW to a private individual who gifted it to the Australian War Memorial.
