Built 1956. Ex N1326P, not cancelled from the USCAR until 17 April 1961 as 'exported to the UK'. Photographed (with minuscule registration on the fin) upon delivery to Keegan Aviation, to whom it was formally registered as G-ARHJ -9 March 1961. After taking off from Elstree on 27 January 1968, the port engine lost power and, with undercarriage still lowered, it started a climbing turn to port but quickly lost height, went out of control and crashed into Hilfield Reservoir, killing all three occupants. Cancelled the same day as Destroyed. This photo is copyright © Mike Cain, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
