This Hunter first flew in 1959 and was delivered to the Swiss AF in that year as well. It was wfu after 35 years of service, on 16 December 1994 (at Payerne air base). In 1995, the aircraft was put on display in Arnex-sur-Orbe. In 2002, it was transported to the newly established museum at Payerne, where it still is today.
