Built as a KC-135A, and accepted by the USAF in 1958. It was modified to KC-135Q to refuel the SR-71A. Rebuilt to KC-135T in the early nineties. The Q is here seen during a back-track at Mildenhall ahead of its mission to pick-up a SR-71A that returned later that day.
