This Fitter-A was built in April 1972 and TOC with the Polish AF the following month. In September 1988 it had been relegated to a ground instruction airframe at Bydgoszcz (3. Lotniczy Pulk Szkolno-Bojowy (3rd Combat-Training Aviation Regiment)) and finally SOC in August 1990. It was placed into storage at Mierzecice (Baza Statkow Powietrznych, JW 4044 (Aircraft Base, Military Unit 4044)) until September 1996, when it was placed on display as a gate guard at EPOP.
