56-0636 was loaned to Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in Connecticut and based at Bradley International Airport for use in testing the JT-9D engines that powered the first Boeing 747s. It was returned to the USAF in March 1981 and placed in storage. When seen here it was diplayed on the base's "Celebrity Row", but this proved no guarantee of survival as the aircraft was scrapped circa 1993.
