Replica of one of Charles E. McGee's P-51s, a D model that therefore should depict his aircraft in the Korean War. Code 78 however is normally tied to then Capt. McGee's P-51C, that he named after his wife Frances' nickname. Even more confusion exists about the serials, including a mixup with Kitten's predecessor, a P-51B named Donna. The bird is hanging in the entrance hall of the Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center of the Commemorative Air Force.
