Fourteen years after I first saw her, dormant at the Sycamore Strip in the DFW suburbs (a spectacular location for a DC-3 in itself), we met again and she was doing well. Visible is the nose turret mount, as well as oil drip pans for the P&W R-1830s. Delivered as C-47A 42-92555 to the USAAF in January 1944 and passed on to the RAF as KG360 about a week later, early February. Certified airworthy as a DC-3 since 1974.
