Ex G-AJIB, this was the first aircraft of Fairways Rotterdam. The photo was apparently published in September 1961 when a Fairways DC-3 suffered engine trouble while flying back the Feyenoord football team from a match in Gothenburg. They had to spend the night in Aalborg. From 1963 Fairways ran a scheduled service between Rotterdam and Southampton. In 1964 the company was absorbed by Martin's Air Charter.
