This aircraft is the prototype of McDonnell's unsuccessful attempt to develop a business jet, first flown on 11 Feb 1959. It remains the only example of this four-engined model ever built and has been stored or preserved in El Paso for many years. On 28 Jan 2022 it was registered to Floatron Inc (Phoenix, AZ).
