Seen at Lake Central's home base at IND in March, 1967 while the fleet of 262s was grounded due to 3 in flight engine disintegrations after entering service in 1966. The problem was solved and they were re-introduced to service as Nord II models. Next to it is N26201. Other regns worn by 207 include 7T-VSS with Air Algérie and F-BVFH with Air Limousin. The relaxed world of civil aviation in that era can be seen in this photo of the neighborhood street and homes behind the aircraft. I parked my car by the truck and walked out to take photos...no problem. This photo is copyright © Bob Garrard, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
