The small "wolf head", close to the 03 on the nose, is the badge of GRUPAER (Gruppo Aerei Imbarcati) of the Italian Navy. Because of the small number of fixed-wing aircraft this unit has no id. number, differing from the other units that are equipped with helicopters. This unit started gradually replacing this memorable aircraft with the F-35B in 2018, with the first delivery from the Italian FACO in Cameri AB.
