Delivered to the USAAF as 44-53254 in 1945. Sold as NX25Y in 1946 and converted to racer configuration. Reregistered as N25Y after 1948. To the Confederate Air Force in 1963. Badly damaged in a forced landing near Greenwood, MS in 2001. Repairs started. Sold to the Flying Red Bulls Collection in 2004. First flew after restoration in 2008.
