Delivered to the RAF 31 August 1960. Declared non-effective 14 February 1973 and to No.1 SoTT, Halton as 8234M that day. Noted wearing 'XN594' in 1996. To The Standard Public-House -8 July 2005 for restoration. When photographed there, it's only i/d was XN458 under the starboard wing. At that time, poor weather delayed it being painted in its original RAF scheme of silver and dayglo orange and they had all parts needed, including new canopy and windscreens. The instrument panel had been refurbished and all instruments were serviceable. Later to Fishburn on -7 September 2021.
