Delivered to the US Navy as HSS-1N 148943 in 1961. Redesignated as an SH-34J in 1962. Transferred to the USAF as an HH-34J in 1971. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1974. To Luke AFB for preservation in 1978.
