ASECNA, The Agency for Aerial Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar (L'Agence pour la Sécurité de la Navigation aérienne en Afrique et à Madagascar) is an air traffic control agency based in Dakar, Senegal. They provide Air Traffic Control services, both local and area, in 18 African countries, covering 15 million square kilometers of airspace. They use this Sovereign for calibration flights for landing and navigational aids. Even though the nation of Sao Tome and Principe is not covered by ASECNA, their Ce680 6V-CEV visited the islands to calibrate the navigation beacons on both islands.
