On May 28, 2016, Hawker Hunter T7 XL600 arrived at London International Airport in Ontario, Canada after being purchased by Graham Rawlinson and Simon Pont from an auction in England earlier in the year. Hangared at the Jet Aircraft Museum at CYXU, the Hunter was built in 1958 and served with the RAF (e.g. 65 Sqn, 4 FTS, 16 Sqn) until going to the Royal Navy as an instructional airframe in 1984. It flew under civilian ownership as G-RAXA and G-VETA and was last flown in the UK in 2014 and has not flown in Canada. It's was one of three Hawker Hunters seen at Airshow London 2024.
