Originally planned to be built as a US Navy E-6A, it was diverted to the USAF as YE-8B 88-0232 to serve as the trial aircraft for the J-Stars E-8B. First flight was 12-Jul-1990. After the cancellation of the E-8B contract, it was converted to freighter configuration in Jun-1992, registered N707UM in Aug-1993, serving as a hack, support and testbed aircraft. This registrration was cancelled Feb-2001 and it was converted to a RE-3B and delivered to the Saudi Arabian AF as 1902. Note here the CFM56 engines.
