This aircraft served with No. 268 Squadron before being turned over to No. 1686 Bomber (Defence) Training Flight in 1943. The Tomahawk I was equivalent to a USAAF P-40 but with four wing guns instead of two. Found unsuitable by the RAF for combat and relegated to training.
