Built in 1941 as 41-8556 for the USAAF. Sold onto the civil market by 1955 as N59448 and like many other Stearmans spent time as a sprayer. Owned by Mission Boston D-Day Llc since February 2023, arriving at Tri County on a 'fly-out' from the National Stearman gathering at nearby Galesburg, Illinois.
