Trans New York Air was originally intended to be called New York Helicopter Corporation using five Dauphins but had recently started scheduled operations at this time between EWR, JFK and LGA airports and downtown using two A.109As, the other being N109DD (c/n 7130). It was a very short-lived venture however, and the company closed down in 1982. This Agusta was ex N109MG and N888MY, the registration N109HH being re-used by an A.109E in 2021 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
