The Imperial War Museum says following service with the Telecommunications Flying Unit and the Aeroplane and Armament Experimental Establishment, FN957 was assigned to the South African Air Force. The Australian website ADF Serials lists FN957 as operated by 429 Sqn, RAAF, which was based in the eastern Mediterranean. The consistency is both put the aircraft into the same theatre of war. FN957 was struck off charge by the RAF in 1946. Photo from: Imperial War Museums This photo was added on 27 October 2024, and has since been viewed 165 times. |
