VH-AAX was an unique Australian conversion of the Beaver called the Wallaroo. It used a Garrett TPE331 engine instead of the Pratt and Whitney PT6A used in production Turbo Beavers. The conversion was carried out at Bankstown in 1969 using an aircraft drawn from the Aerial Agriculture cropduster fleet. It was converted back into a regular Beaver in 1973 and returned to agricultural flying. In 1986 it converted again to Wallaroo configuration and was being used for skydiving in 2017.
