The logo on the fuel tank is US Coast Guard Auxiliary while the name under the door is Al (Albert) Bayer. Bayer, a former Hughes Aircraft executive, was the previous owner of the Hughes which had been registered N269AL. The photo here is soon after arrival in New Zealand where it was used for deer hunting. ZK-HGD crashed at Te Anau on May 25, 1987.
