This marvelous looking Brazilian Herc participated in the static display of the RIAT 2007. The aircraft is here seen, just before its long leg back home. The aircraft was delivered to the Brazilian Air Force in November 1968, was modified with Search and Rescue equipment and redesignated to SC-130E in 1988. De difference is clearly seen as it has a window in side door. The workhore was withdrawn from use on 31 October 2016. Initially stored at Galeão air base (Brazil) and then sadly sold for scrap on 17 May 2017. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
