Originally designed by Holste, only nine Nord 260 were produced; they were the forerunners for the larger, pressurized Nord 262. C/n 3 was used by the French turbine engines manufacturer Turboméca (as F-BKRH) and re-engined with a pair of Astazou XVI in place of the original Bastan III. It was re-registered F-AZRH (on the collection aircraft series) in 1996, when the "Association Antilope" took over this rare aircraft to keep it airworthy.
