On final approach for the grass airstrip at Woburn Park to join the 2014 De Havilland Moth Club Rally. Taken on charge by the RAF as DE992 in 1943. Transferred to the Armée de l'Air in 1945. Became F-BGJI in 1952. Returned to the UK in 1970 as G-AXXV. Repainted in RAF colours as DE992 in 1975. Rebuilt after accidents in 1989 and 2007. Insurance write off after being stuck by another aircraft in 2021, but subsequently sold on for another rebuild. This photo is copyright © David A.
