The original c/n for this aircraft is 2. It was built in the USA by Ned Kensinger of The Aircraft Repair Service in Peoria, Illinois, to the order of Robert J.Ferguson. It was based on the drawings of the Long LA.1 Midget and was originally to be named "Spook". It was completed in the Autumn of 1953, it featured a canary yellow and royal blue colour scheme with white pin stripes with registration N23S and racing number 25. It was imported to the UK by Paul J Bannister to whom it was registered on 11 May 1964. This photo is copyright © Gordon Riley, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
