Retired from KLM in 2003 and sold to the Aviodrome Museum for a symbolic 1 Euro. It was dismantled and transported via road and canal to the museum in December, 2004. Having worked on the Fokker F28 move in Saskatchewan earlier this year, I cannot imagine how big a job it would've been to move a 747!
