This 1946 Stinson 108-1, CF-QMR, was imported to Canada in 1971 and was based in the Northwest Territories and Alberta until acquired by Sharon Swarts in Orangeville, Ontario in November 1990. It was still owned by the same family in 2024 and based at Brampton Caledon Airport. It was seen at the 2006 Gathering of the Classics at Edenvale. This event started at Collingwood Airport but moved to Edenvale c2005 after the wartime RCAF airport re-opened after 43 years in 2002. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I.
