France sold 24 Mirage 2000Cs to India at a price of €1 million per plane. In September 2021 the deal was signed. Thirteen were sold in a complete condition, of which eight were planned to be used by the Indian Air Force. Most probably, all other were transferred for cannibalization to secure the operational availability of the Indian Air Force two existing Mirage squadrons.
