Taxiing out from its sheltered moorings at Northwest Flying's base to depart from Kakabikitchiwan Lake on a local area flight. Originally built in 1953 as a C-45G for the USAF. In 1962 became the Bristol Aerospace prototype for the conversion of the Beech 18 to floatplane configuration. Based here at Nestor Falls since 1964. Originally known as Northwestern Flying Services, the company changed its name to Northwest Flying Inc in 1987.
