Delivered to the USAF on 23 March 1983 and assigned to the 32nd TFS Wolfhounds at Soesterberg AB. It left its USAFE duty on 25 September 1992 and was then assigned to the 57th FIS ('IS'-code) at Keflavik (Iceland). It was assigned to the 2nd FS ('TY'-code) at Tyndall from November 1995 and the 1st FS (also 'TY') from January 1996. The Eagle was transferred to the 173rd FS of the Oregon ANG, and eventually arrived at the 309th AMARG on 29 July 2010.
